Dorota Blumczynska’s life as a refugee has centred on survival. A woman of strength, Derota has survived displacement, migration, poverty, the loss of a parent, becoming an orphan, a ward of the child welfare system, and violence; many forms of violence; domestic, sexual, emotional, and psychological violence. Now an experienced C-Suite Executive, Dorota leads nonprofit strategy, public relations, communications, operations, risk management, finance, and human resources. She is one of one of Winnipeg’s most sought-after speakers and has never delivered the same speech twice. Join us as she shares her ”unsaid story” of refugee life.
